Local Mencap Doncaster

Hello Everyone

My name is Jordan and I live with my friend Lee in Supported Living.  At my Smile day centre I am part of the gardening group and I love drama and performing in the shows there. 

I have been a member at Doncaster Mencap for a long time and I am also a volunteer at our Gateway club and a Gateway rep on the Mencap committee.

I like being a volunteer and meeting up with everyone.  I enjoy chatting to other members and volunteers and I like helping with everything.  I can work the karaoke machine and I help with our discos and when we go bowling I can set up the players too.

I love dancing and dressing up when we have our Halloween and Christmas discos and making people laugh.

I help our members to decide what they would like to do at our Gateway club and I tell the committee what we want or if we are unhappy about anything because that is important to us all.
